Zigzag Launches Same-Day Delivery Service in Chungcheong Region

Zigzag, a style commerce platform operated by Kakao Style, has significantly expanded its 'Jikjjin Delivery' service's same-day delivery coverage to include Cheonan and Asan in Chungcheongnam-do. This means that following the Seoul metropolitan area, consumers in the Chungcheong region can now also receive ordered fashion items on the same day, allowing more customers to enjoy Zigzag's fast delivery benefits. On the 6th, Zigzag announced that its same-day delivery service, previously available in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, has been expanded to a wide range of areas, including 17 Dongs in Cheonan Dongnam-gu, 8 Dongs and 3 Eups in Seobuk-gu, and 10 Dongs, 1 Eup, and 2 Myeons in Asan City. Customers who place an order before 1 PM can receive their items before midnight on the same day. Jikjjin Delivery maximizes customer convenience by offering various options beyond nationwide standard delivery, including same-day delivery in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, and dawn delivery in Seoul. In particular, Jikjjin Delivery is praised as a 'delivery innovation' that emerged by solving the chronic delivery delay issues in the Dongdaemun wholesale market. Currently, the 'delivery departure rate' for same-day and dawn deliveries reaches nearly 99%, and the 'delivery guarantee rate' consistently maintains 97-98%, boasting overwhelming service quality. Zigzag plans to continue managing these key indicators to maintain high customer satisfaction. Jikjjin Delivery's achievements are clearly reflected in its figures. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the total transaction value of Jikjjin Delivery surged by a remarkable 60% compared to the same period last year, with particularly impressive growth rates of approximately 60% for same-day delivery transactions and 68% for dawn delivery transactions. Currently, over 10,000 stores participate, expanding the service's scope by handling a diverse range of items including fashion, beauty products, lifestyle items, and food. Last year, it even launched carriers eligible for same-day and dawn delivery, breaking down shopping boundaries. Since introducing Jikjjin Delivery in June 2021, Zigzag has steadily expanded its service coverage, launching same-day and dawn delivery in Seoul in June 2022, and extending same-day delivery to the Gyeonggi region in June 2023. Through this expansion into the Chungcheong region, even more consumers can now enjoy a fast and convenient shopping experience. A Kakao Style official stated, "We will focus on optimizing logistics processes and establishing stable processes with our partners to raise the delivery guarantee rate close to 100%," expressing their ambition to make Jikjjin Delivery an unrivaled delivery service in the fashion sector.
