## Naver Unveils 'LEAP 2025' Innovation Roadmap, Charting Saudi Arabia's Digital Future At 'LEAP 2025', the Middle East's largest IT festival to be held in Riyadh from February 9th to 12th, Team Naver will unveil an innovative AI vision set to rewrite Saudi Arabia's digital future. By showcasing proprietary AI technology specialized for Saudi culture and language, it is expected to support the strengthening of Saudi Arabia's digital sovereignty while marking a new turning point in Naver's entry into the Middle Eastern market. At this exhibition, Team Naver will present a blueprint for a comprehensive technology ecosystem that organically connects data centers, cloud, and AI, under the grand theme of 'AI for Saudi Arabia, Powered by Naver.' This is considered a further advanced strategic move, building upon successful collaborations with Aramco Digital, SAPTCO, and others at LEAP 2024 last year. As stated by Kim Yu-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, Team Naver plans to actively support Saudi Arabia's independent technological development, guided by the firm philosophy that "Team Naver will further strengthen its position in the global market with technology that respects the culture and identity of each nation." In particular, during the core presentation of this exhibition, titled 'Naver AI Value Chain for Preserving Digital Heritage,' the importance of 'Sovereign AI' in preserving Saudi Arabia's unique culture and identity will be emphasized. Pointing out the risk of erroneously trained AI misrecognizing cultural heritage, and based on Naver's unique experience as the world's third developer of a native language-based large language model (LLM), the presentation will highlight the necessity of AI that deeply understands local language and cultural characteristics. At the LEAP 2025 venue, real-world service implementation examples vividly demonstrating the infinite localization possibilities of Naver AI technology will also be demonstrated. AI services to be showcased across four key areas – education, healthcare, media, and work productivity – will demonstrate the potential to bring immediate innovation to various sectors of Saudi society. Highlights include an AI tutor providing personalized learning, an AI Voice EMR to revolutionize healthcare professionals' work efficiency, a Media AI to automate video search, and Naver Works, a cutting-edge business collaboration tool incorporating HyperCLOVA X. Additionally, key infrastructure embodying Team Naver's technological philosophy and capabilities will greet visitors as physical models. The main components of the eco-friendly data center 'Gak', the flexible hybrid cloud service 'Neurocloud', and an innovative space realizing the city of Medina as a digital twin will visually demonstrate Naver's robust technological foundation. At LEAP 2025, hosted by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and gathering over 680 startups, 1,000 speakers, and 1,800 technology brands, Team Naver will accelerate its entry into the Middle Eastern market and solidify its position as Saudi Arabia's digital innovation partner.
