Dillyverse Moves to Capture Chungcheong's Same-Day Delivery Market

AI-based logistics innovation company Deliverus has expanded its same-day delivery service by officially entering the Chungcheong region market. On the 11th, Deliverus announced that it would expand the operational areas of its same-day arrival guaranteed service, ‘Delirabbit,’ to Cheonan City and Asan City in Chungcheongnam-do. This makes Deliverus the only same-day delivery carrier in Korea to set foot in the Chungcheong region. Customers in the newly serviced Cheonan and Asan regions can receive their products within an average of 6 hours if they order before 1 PM. A Deliverus official stated that the high purchasing power, geographical advantages as a logistics hub, and the economic potential of Chungcheongnam-do were the main motivations for this expansion. Indeed, Chungcheongnam-do gained attention by ranking 3rd nationwide in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and 2nd nationwide in per capita GRDP in 2023. Deliverus has also significantly strengthened its logistics infrastructure for this expansion. Last December, it expanded and relocated its Gwangju, Gyeonggi logistics hub to a state-of-the-art Icheon logistics hub, approximately 1,600 pyeong (about 5,300 square meters), and maximized efficiency by introducing an automated sorting system capable of processing over 17,000 items per hour. Furthermore, through a new partnership with the popular golf wear brand ‘Malbon Golf,’ it has begun offering same-day delivery services, and plans to continuously expand collaborations with leading domestic companies and brands in the future. Kim Yong-jae, CEO of Deliverus, emphasized the aspiration, "Based on our transportation know-how and AI-based technology, we will continue to expand our delivery areas and innovate, becoming the standard in the same-day delivery market." Deliverus currently provides same-day delivery and same-day return pickup services to e-commerce companies and brand official malls facing difficulties in building their own delivery networks, establishing itself as a key partner for various companies in the fashion, beauty, and general merchandise sectors such as Zigzag, Xexymix, and Allways.
