Edutech startup True Value's 'DreamAppeal,' which has brought a fresh wave to career education in 846 schools and accumulated over 350,000 practical cases, is joining the journey of turning dreams into reality. Since its official launch in 2022, DreamAppeal has surpassed 61,000 cumulative users and is more than just a platform; it's a vibrant community where 'Dreamers' independently set their dreams, record their goals and actions as posts, and communicate with each other.
Originating from the need for digital career education during the COVID-19 pandemic, DreamAppeal grew rapidly, aligning with the voluntary demand from schools. Career counselors, who felt the limitations of one-time education, began utilizing DreamAppeal as an effective educational tool to enable students to continue their career activities self-directedly even after class. With added support for creation, career support funds, scholarship linkages, and mentoring/experiential education infrastructure, students in 846 schools nationwide are currently nurturing their dreams through DreamAppeal.
In addition to being officially registered with the Ministry of Education, it has been adopted as an Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education pilot project since 2023, providing a differentiated career education environment to local students for three consecutive years, thus proving its excellence. Incheon's success story highlights the potential for expansion to education offices nationwide.
Over the past three years, approximately 350,000 practical cases have been recorded by students on DreamAppeal, with over 10,000 consistent practices occurring monthly. During this process, over 6.7 million 'likes' and communication comments are exchanged, fostering active interaction where one Dreamer discusses their dreams with an average of 36.2 peers. The annual communication frequency averages 384 times per person, meaning users share and support each other's dreams almost daily.
Based on this vast accumulated data of practice and communication, True Value is accelerating the development of a self-realization AI assistant service that supports users throughout their entire life cycle. In particular, the user propensity diagnosis engine being developed as a 'TIPS' research project and features partially developed with Google's support are soon to be introduced to the world through 'My Mission Studio (MMS)', a practice-oriented micro SNS-type LMS.
Jung Ju-young, CEO of True Value, announced the establishment of a partnership with Japanese Sanrio startup PITTCH, revealing his ambition to "challenge local market entry in Japan based on AI technology development and subsequent Series A investment." DreamAppeal has now completed preparations to support the dreams of more people, beyond Korea, on the global stage.
