Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Leads AI Math Education Innovation... Personalized Learning Era Opens with Introduction of FreeWillin's 'Fullischool'
FreeWillin, an edutech company, will fully deploy its AI math courseware 'Fullischool' to support math learning for students in Gyeongsangnam-do through its integration with 'i-TokTok', the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education's core digital learning platform. This marks the second public education collaboration case after the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, and is expected to be a significant milestone in ushering in an era of AI-based, student-customized education.
Gyeongnam Office of Education's 'i-TokTok', which boasts approximately 300,000 educational content items and extensive learning data, and is accessed by over 30,000 users daily on average, serves as a core platform supporting the individual learning journeys of students. The introduction of Fullischool focuses on bridging the math learning gap for middle and high school students and ensuring their foundational academic skills, and the Gyeongnam Office of Education made a bold decision to expand free usage to elementary school students to maximize the educational impact.
Fullischool achieved the feat of being selected as the sole software, meeting all strict comprehensive evaluation criteria including content quality, functional effectiveness, and teacher convenience. This service, offering over 800,000 rich content items and 30,000 questions per grade level, boasts features such as curriculum-based minimum achievement classification, sophisticated level-based content recommendations derived from learning data, and personalized supplementary content provision through incorrect answer analysis. Students can engage in unlimited repetitive learning at their own pace and level, while teachers can easily generate customized supplementary learning materials for each student with just one click, thereby enhancing the quality of lessons and significantly reducing their workload.
Over 900 elementary, middle, and high school teachers participated in the teacher training held last May at the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education's Future Education Center, expressing high expectations for Fullischool. In a satisfaction survey conducted after the training, over 90% responded with 'very satisfied' or 'satisfied', proving the positive on-site reaction.
Jang Yun-jung, Head of Future Planning Department at the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education's Future Education Center, expressed her anticipation, stating, "Fullischool will not only be an effective alternative for students struggling with math, but also significantly contribute to strengthening teachers' instructional capabilities and alleviating their workload." Kwon Ki-seong, CEO of FreeWillin, also shared his ambition, saying, "Our collaboration with the Gyeongnam Office of Education will become a representative model for realizing student-centered education in public schools through AI learning tools. Moving forward, we plan to expand cooperation with other provincial/metropolitan offices of education and various educational institutions to lead the digital transformation and instructional innovation in public education."
Fullischool has optimized its features to allow immediate use through i-TokTok accounts without separate registration, and it is opening new horizons for future-oriented education by providing an environment where teachers can utilize educational AI chatbots unlimitedly.
