The Primer 25th Demo Day venue, a significant chapter in the history of domestic startups and a gateway for future unicorns, was held at the Korea Science and Technology Center. This space, where investors, founders, and the general audience gathered, was always filled with new possibilities. Primer, Korea's first accelerator, has nurtured over 250 startups for 16 years, upholding the banner of "passing on the DNA of senior entrepreneurs." CEO Kwon Do-gyun emphasized the inherent value of Demo Day as "the passion of startups" and announced the expansion of various programs, including stealth startup mentoring. At this Demo Day, nine startups presented their visions for the future. Pet fresh food dawn delivery 'Zootopia Fresh' demonstrated market growth potential by recording 500% growth year-over-year, 100 million won in monthly transaction volume, and a 50% re-purchase rate. Slack-based organizational culture improvement solution 'Agigora (Hummingbirds)' showed its value in focusing on solving human problems with tangible results: adoption by over 30 companies and an average 20 percentage point reduction in turnover rate. AI English learning content creation 'QPilot (Aardvark)' achieved 97.8% accuracy in grasping the logical structure of texts with its proprietary methodology that overcomes LLM limitations, securing major clients like Daesung Academy. 'Bomchan', which attempted the digital transformation of the analog stone market, surpassed its break-even point in just one month by solving logistics and distribution problems, and achieved an annual revenue of 1.1 billion won and an operating profit margin of 28%, proving its innovation. 'Docentee', an AI agent for automated work requests, developed external system integration technology with TIPS support, and is providing SaaS to LG, Naver Smartstore, and others as a 24/7 operational AI solution. In addition, teams from various fields presented, including vegan yogurt 'Bolby', daily wage worker management 'Wink', Indian fortune telling 'Sisters', and AI call center 'VoxAI'. CEO Kwon Do-gyun emphasized "execution over planning" and offered profound advice: "Focus on the present, find the essence, and avoid over-technology." Demo Day was a scene where the dazzling passion and harsh reality of startups intersected. Time will tell how many of the nine teams that stood on stage today will grow into unicorns. Even amidst uncertainty, the challenges of entrepreneurs towards the next stage will continue.
