Proptech startup Naepyeon Company has achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Korea Institute for Human Settlements President's Award at the '2025 Real Estate Service Industry Startup Competition,' hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, signaling a new era in the real estate market. Building on this momentum, the company is preparing to once again prove its potential at the 'Challenge K-Startup 2025 Integrated Finals,' a pan-government integrated startup competition to be held this coming October. Now in its 8th year, this competition was organized to discover innovative ideas in the real estate industry and support startups in the proptech sector. Out of 20 teams selected nationwide, only 7 teams, including Naepyeon Company, had the honor of receiving an award. In particular, Naepyeon Company's 'Real Estate Naepyeon' platform is expected to become a beacon for newlyweds and young professionals who feel anxious in the complex and perilous real estate market. It boasts an innovative structure that not only offers an expert accompaniment service but also utilizes AI to precisely review contract risks, provide negotiation guidance, and manage relocation and move-in, all in a 'one-stop' solution. The most noteworthy aspect is that the service specializes in preventing "Jeonse" (lump-sum deposit) scams and loss of deposit money. By integrating and managing the entire real estate transaction process, from customized property consultations to contract risk reviews, expert on-site accompaniment, and relocation and move-in management, all within a single platform, it focuses on solving the biggest concerns of the younger generation. Naepyeon Company's AI-based contract risk analysis system boasts advanced technology that goes beyond analyzing appropriate market prices and document risks to automatically detect scam patterns in contracts. A competition official highly praised the company, stating, "It was very impressive how they resolved the long-standing distrust in real estate transactions through AI-based accompaniment services and proposed a differentiated real estate experience by providing a customer-centric integrated solution." With this award, Naepyeon Company has secured opportunities for business agreements and investment attraction with institutions linked to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, as well as exceptional benefits such as public data support from the Korea Institute for Human Settlements and the Korea Real Estate Board, qualification to compete in the 'Challenge! K-Startup' integrated finals, and free occupancy for one year at the 'Proptech Village' within the Korea Real Estate Board's Seoul Gangnam office building. Naepyeon Company expressed its aspiration to "become a reliable partner that reduces risks and anxieties during the transaction process and prevents social costs, enabling newlyweds and young people to confidently take their first steps towards homeownership," solidifying its commitment to contributing to the stable start of future generations. All eyes are now on whether 'Real Estate Naepyeon' will establish itself as a core platform that safely and smartly guides young Koreans through their first real estate transactions.
