The lifestyle brand 'WePLA', for solo-living individuals, has now ventured into laundry services! Naebangnibang, a startup providing infrastructure services for solo-person households, correctly identified the 'time-efficiency (시성비)' trend among the 2030 generation and newly launched its unmanned laundry service, 'Laundry WePLA'. By opening its first branch in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, it has begun to secure new growth engines. Naebangnibang is engaged in a business that digitally transforms the branding and operational management of residential properties for single-person households using IT platform technology. Through 'WePLA', it has been providing content specialized for rental spaces, and has expanded its space-based infrastructure by adding unmanned laundromats after cafes. In particular, 'Laundry WePLA' was born from a strategic collaboration with Euisikju Company, which operates the unmanned laundry specialists 'Laundrygo' and 'Laundry24'. By combining Laundry24's state-of-the-art laundry equipment and payment systems with WePLA's unique sensory space branding and store operation know-how, it has gained a differentiated competitive edge. As expected, the interior of the first branch did not disappoint. Designed with a hip sensibility reminiscent of a pop-up store, it allows the main target audience, including single-person households in their 20s and 30s as well as newlyweds, to enjoy both convenience and style simultaneously. Starting with this opening, Naebangnibang plans to establish a new supervisor organization and open five additional stores in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (Incheon and Gyeonggi) by the end of this year. This ambitious plan aims to expand its offline presence and solidify the influence of the 'WePLA' space brand. Nam Geun-ho, CEO of Naebangnibang, stated that "'the launch of 'Laundry WePLA' is a signal marking the beginning of WePLA's integrated online and offline infrastructure services,' and announced plans for 'expansion into various business sectors as a space-centric lifestyle brand.'" Indeed, having already entered the premium objet diffuser market through its home line 'WePLA Home', it demonstrates a strong will to encompass all aspects of lifestyle. Given that the domestic laundry market is gradually becoming unmanned and is projected to grow to approximately 6 trillion won by 2026, WePLA's trajectory in leading single-person household lifestyle innovation is highly anticipated!
