AI Search Innovation Company Liner Joins National Core AI Project... Builds Trust with 11 Million Users by Minimizing Hallucinations Liner, a global AI agent startup, is gaining attention as it joins a key project that will shape the future of AI in South Korea. As part of the SKT consortium, it has proudly secured its place in the elite team tasked with building the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'Independent AI Foundation Model'. This SKT-led consortium is a super-luxurious dream team, spearheaded by SK Telecom, bringing together academia (like Seoul National University, KAIST) and major corporations (like Krafton, Rebellions, 42dot). Its goal is to implement a 'full-stack AI' that covers the entire AI ecosystem, from semiconductors to services and data. Liner's technological prowess has already been proven to be world-class. It achieved an astonishing score of 95.3 points in OpenAI's fact accuracy evaluation metric, the 'SimpleQA Benchmark', and demonstrated results that even surpassed GPT-4.1 in key performance aspects of AI search answer generation. Based on this overwhelming technological capability, Liner has secured over 90% of its global users, totaling more than 11 million users across approximately 220 countries worldwide, including the US, Europe, and India, establishing itself as a strong player in the global AI market. In this project, Liner will play a pivotal role as an 'accurate AI search and information retrieval specialized agent'. By providing real-world usage datasets, building a Ranker model-based accuracy evaluation system, and designing a sentence-level trustworthiness verification module, it plans to significantly reduce AI hallucination phenomena and focus on maximizing the reliability and accuracy of the Korean-style foundation model.
