Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center Leads 2025 Robust Small Business Development Program

Gangwon CCEI Selected as Host Organization to Lead Online Growth of 'Strong Small Business Owners' in 2025! Gangwon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (hereinafter Gangwon CCEI) has been finally selected as the host organization for the '2025 Strong Small Business Owner Growth Support Project (Online Seller Type),' organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Business and Market Revitalization Agency. This marks its emergence as a key hub supporting the successful establishment and growth of small business owners in the online market. The 'Strong Small Business Owner Growth Support Project (Online Seller Type)' is designed to discover small business owners with exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and creative items, helping them grow into unique presences in the online market. Through this project, Gangwon CCEI plans to select capable small business owners, totaling 250 domestic companies and 70 overseas companies, and provide systematic support. In particular, beyond training on major domestic and international e-commerce platforms like Naver, Kakao, and Amazon, it will support practical growth through Gangwon CCEI's unique differentiated customized programs. Since opening its doors in 2015, Gangwon CCEI has led the innovation ecosystem in the Gangwon region. As both a venture builder and a public accelerator, it has driven the growth of numerous innovative companies with its specialized incubation system, encompassing everything from early-stage startups to scale-up and investment attraction. In particular, by successfully carrying out major projects such as 'Creative Expedition,' 'New Business Startup Academy,' and 'Local Creator Development Project,' it discovered over 330 local creators within Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and actively supported their transition into entrepreneurial small business owners. This selection as a host organization means that Gangwon CCEI will play a crucial role in establishing the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Entrepreneurial Small Business Owner Development System.' Building on this momentum, Gangwon CCEI will actively discover 'Rye-Con' companies that will expand beyond Gangwon to the national market and accelerate its continuous growth support efforts.
