Fivespot Surpasses 45,000 Members, 700,000 Uses
FastFive's innovative lounge membership service 'FiveSpot' is bringing a fresh breeze to the domestic workspace market. This service has recorded 45,000 cumulative members and 700,000 cumulative uses, achieving an astonishing 44% revenue growth year-on-year as of July 2025. Starting with 34 branches in June 2021, FiveSpot has built a nationwide network encompassing a total of 243 branches, including 44 directly managed and 199 affiliated locations, as of August 2025, in just over four years. It maximizes accessibility by supporting users to utilize necessary spaces anytime, anywhere through customized products such as unlimited passes, weekend/night passes, and time passes. FiveSpot's secret to success is analyzed to be its clear target customer base and its precise fulfillment of their needs. Users in their 30s and 40s, who constitute 70% of the total users, especially freelancers and office workers, are utilizing FiveSpot not only for work (36.8%), self-improvement (18.7%), and study (15.8%), but also as a base for job/career change preparation (9.5%) or side jobs (8.0%). Notably, the fact that 44.7% of all members are from the so-called 'cafe study tribe' (people who used to work in cafes) demonstrates that FiveSpot is effectively serving its role as a 'new work hub' beyond just a simple lounge. This strategy has led to high customer satisfaction. Figures such as a 98% space satisfaction rate, a 4.9 out of 5 service satisfaction score, and a 92% willingness to recommend to acquaintances attest to this. The satisfaction factors cited by users were 'overwhelming accessibility' (33.3%) and 'provision of optimal space for working' (27.5%). A pleasant atmosphere (15.9%) and well-equipped office equipment (13.6%) also received positive evaluations, proving that an environment where users can fully concentrate on their work is being provided. Kim Dae-il, CEO of FastFive, stated, "FiveSpot has firmly established itself as an essential work hub for freelancers and office workers in their 30s and 40s," adding, "We will continue to expand an environment where customers nationwide can achieve their best concentration at a reasonable cost."
