Dunamu Launches 'Upclass' Digital Asset Management Training for Future Generations
An innovative step for the youth, the main players in future finance! Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, has ambitiously unveiled its digital asset education program, ‘UP Class’. First introduced at UDC 2025 (Upbit D Conference) on the 9th, UP Class was designed to enhance the digital asset literacy of the 2030 generation and, furthermore, foster a sound investment culture based on ESG principles. It features an in-depth curriculum that goes beyond mere digital assets, encompassing rapidly changing advanced technology trends such as blockchain and AI. Following the ‘Financial Golden Bell’ program for those aged 50 and above, conducted with the Financial Supervisory Service in the first half of the year, the second half finally marks the beginning of full-fledged special lectures for the younger generation. The first UP Class for youth at UDC 2025 covered three fascinating topics: surveying the past and present of digital assets through Bitcoin, the future envisioned by blockchain and AI, and 'UP-BTI' which diagnoses individual investment tendencies. Top experts in each field, including economic journalist CEO Goran (Algorand), neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-sun, and Dunamu manager Lee Eun-jeong, served as speakers, receiving great acclaim from participants. The lectures provided a balanced blend of in-depth insights and practical information, covering everything from the birth of Bitcoin and the impact of digital assets on financial markets, to exploring the role and identity of youth amid societal changes brought by AI and blockchain, and offering practical learning guides tailored to individual investment tendencies. The survey results conducted after the event proved its success. 89.6% of participating youth responded that their perception of digital assets changed positively, and 92% evaluated that it greatly helped broaden their perspective on future finance. Driven by this enthusiastic response, the 2030 Youth UP Class will continue its nationwide tour throughout September, with a total of seven sessions. After visiting five major universities including Kangwon National University, Pukyong National University, Chosun University, POSTECH, and KAIST, it will conclude its grand finale at Kunsthalle Gangnam in Seoul, and all lectures will be provided completely free of charge. Oh Kyung-seok, CEO of Dunamu, expressed his strong resolve, stating, “UP Class will broaden the horizons of digital asset education and serve as an important cornerstone for South Korea to leap forward as a next-generation digital asset powerhouse.”
