Dayone Company, a leader in adult education, is actively committed to creating youth jobs through its career education brand 'Zero Base'. While companies seek practical talent, young people without experience often struggle to even get an opportunity due to a structural dilemma. In this context, Dayone Company is introducing practice-oriented solutions, breathing new life into the job market.
At its core is 'Zero Intern', an internship model linked to the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Future Tomorrow Job Experience' program. Zero Intern directly connects companies with young people, providing both practical work experience and opportunities to discover outstanding talent. Since its launch in 2023, it has shown remarkable growth, with a 51-fold increase in participating companies and a 16-fold surge in youth applicants. It has received an explosive response, with job openings more than doubling and the number of young people wishing to participate expanding by an average of over three times each session. Recognizing these achievements, Zero Intern was selected as an 'Excellent' operating institution, the highest rating, in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's '2024 Future Tomorrow Job Experience Operating Institution Evaluation,' thereby securing its credibility. Indeed, many participants who gained practical experience in various roles such as marketing and design achieved valuable outcomes, including conversion to full-time positions and successful career changes, proving the program's effectiveness.
Beyond the industrial sector, Dayone Company is also striving for organic cooperation with universities. A prime example is the four-week career boot camp recently conducted for 785 Konkuk University students. This program combined online career competency education with offline practical workshops, offering a customized curriculum optimized for practical work, including resume writing, business documentation, and soft skills. The average satisfaction among participants reached 4.7 out of 5 points, with particularly strong positive feedback for the practical task-oriented lectures and mentoring from industry professionals. Based on this successful model, Dayone Company plans to expand partnerships with leading domestic universities to continuously broaden its career education programs for young people.
Kim Ji-hoon, Head of the Zero Base Division at Dayone Company, emphasized, "Our goal is not just successful employment, but to provide a practical starting point where young people can design sustainable careers," adding, "We will strengthen cooperation with companies, universities, and the government to solidify a virtuous cycle where education leads to actual employment." Dayone Company is fulfilling its social responsibility by leading the way in alleviating youth unemployment through innovative educational content and proactive collaboration.
