Crosshub Wins Top Prize at Gyeonggi G-Star Audition

Crosshub, which is bringing a new breath of fresh air to the financial market with its innovative blockchain technology, recently clinched the grand prize at the '2025 Gyeonggi Startup Contest G-Star Audition' preliminary startup and early-stage league finals, hosted by Gyeonggi Province, once again proving its technological prowess and business viability. In particular, by receiving the prestigious Gyeonggi Provincial Governor's Award, it is garnering significant attention from the startup ecosystem. The G-Star Audition highlighted Crosshub's unique capabilities amidst fierce competition, where only 10 teams out of 777 applicants advanced to the finals. As the official startup competition program of the G-STAR 2025 content fair, this award suggests that Crosshub possesses the potential to be a game-changer in the future identity verification market, beyond being a mere technology company. Crosshub, which specializes in innovative blockchain-based identity verification solutions, is currently conducting successful PoCs (Proof of Concept) with leading domestic financial institutions, thereby increasing its market applicability. This demonstrates that Crosshub's technology is proving its safety and efficiency in real financial environments, beyond theoretical concepts. Despite being a nascent company established in 2024, Crosshub achieved the remarkable feat of attracting seed investment from four domestic investment firms in just one year. Furthermore, it has successively secured a substantial 6.1 billion KRW in R&D funds – 4.6 billion KRW from being selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's 'Little Penguin Program' in the first half of this year, and 1.5 billion KRW from being selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Deep-Tech TIPS' last month – thereby accelerating its technology development. This rapid growth and investment attraction demonstrate that Crosshub's vision and technological capabilities are gaining strong confidence in the market. Kim Sang-yoon, Director of Crosshub, stated, "It is very meaningful to have achieved the splendid accomplishment of our 10th award this year alone, including the grand prize and top excellence award, receiving recognition for our technological prowess and business viability." He further expressed his ambition, saying, "We will build a decentralized data ecosystem through blockchain-based AI technology and expand it beyond identity verification to various fintech areas such as simple payments, international remittances, education, and even smart cities."
