Residents of Jeollanam-do, you can now feel at ease even with unfamiliar calls! Colgate, a company specializing in visible ARS and payment solutions, has successfully implemented its innovative 'Info Push' service in all 22 city and county offices of Jeollanam-do, bringing a new sense of security to the lives of local residents. This smart notification system, when a call comes in, displays the caller's organization's logo, department name, and even the purpose of the call on the recipient's smartphone screen in advance.
There is no longer any need to hesitate with unidentified calls that used to ring with uncertainty. Being able to see at a glance who is calling and why before answering the phone serves as a strong shield, protecting residents safely from crimes like voice phishing. This implementation is a key part of the 'Smart Notification Service for the Public' announced by Jeollanam-do last February, demonstrating the province's commitment to delivering resident-centric administrative services.
Info Push goes beyond simply displaying caller information. Even after a missed call or a completed call, it delivers customized messages such as provincial events, important policy promotions, and urgent announcements, tailored to the situation, thereby broadening the communication channel between local governments and residents. Through this, it is expected to significantly enhance administrative efficiency and resident satisfaction, as well as generate positive ripple effects on boosting local brand awareness and stimulating the local economy, Colgate anticipates.
Indeed, Colgate's Info Push service is rapidly gaining traction and spreading among government, public institutions, and local governments. As of August 2025, 54 out of approximately 400 Colgate clients have already adopted this service, and the adoption rate is truly explosive. Following the adoption by 7 institutions throughout 2024, a remarkable 13 additional institutions adopted the service in the first half of 2025 alone, proving its effectiveness and necessity. New clients are expected to continue to increase steadily in the second half of the year.
Gurye County Mayor Kim Soon-ho expressed satisfaction, stating, "Thanks to the introduction of the administrative call notification service, residents can now answer calls with peace of mind, enabling more efficient civil service provision." Colgate CEO Lee Kang-min stated, "The Info Push service will continue to strengthen trust between public institutions and citizens and actively support communication and promotion for local governments," and emphasized that Colgate would spare no effort in supporting more public institutions to implement resident-centric, convenient, and safe administrative services through Info Push. The future where Info Push, a safer and more efficient administrative service beginning with a single phone call, spreads nationwide starting from Jeonnam, is highly anticipated.
