Chabot Mobility has finally unveiled the groundbreaking 2.0 version of its designated driver call service, 'Chabot Daeri'. Launched in May 2023 with the aim of becoming a platform that integrates all driver mobility experiences, Chabot Daeri has elevated user convenience and stability to the next level through this renewal. The core of this reorganization lies in improving the user experience, making the entire process from calling to matching and payment easier and smoother. The most notable change is the introduction of an 'automatic fare suggestion mechanism'. Now, if dispatch is delayed at the desired fare, the system automatically suggests and adjusts an appropriate fare, minimizing waiting times and maximizing driver matching rates. This is a groundbreaking change that helps users access quick designated driver services even in urgent situations. The previously complex fare input and payment process has also been entirely revamped with an intuitive UI, allowing users to easily set fares and register payment methods during the call process. No longer requiring multiple steps, everything is resolved with just a few touches. Additionally, the ability to pre-register frequently used home or office addresses provides great convenience to users when taking repetitive routes, such as commuting. Chabot Mobility is not stopping at this reorganization but is actively considering future-oriented service expansions. They are discussing the introduction of a card registration feature using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to enhance payment convenience, as well as reintroducing a call-center based designated driver service for middle-aged and senior users unfamiliar with app usage. In addition to these, various service enhancements are planned, including a 'call on behalf' feature, on-site payment options, and the development of a more sophisticated AI-based fare calculation system. Furthermore, through strategic partnerships with external organizations and brands, Chabot Daeri plans to offer customized benefits and discount programs exclusively for its users, thereby increasing service accessibility and utilization, and strengthening platform competitiveness. Kim Yong-min, Head of Product Division at Chabot Mobility, emphasized that this renewal focused not merely on functional improvements but on enhancing the completeness of the service that customers can truly experience. He added that Chabot Mobility will continuously strive to provide an experience where the entire driver mobility journey is completed with just 'Chabot'. Chabot Daeri 2.0 is expected to become an indispensable mobility partner in drivers' daily lives, providing a more convenient and stable designated driver service through user-centric innovation.
