## ChaBot Mobility Attempts to Establish K-Mobility Platform Model in Mongolian Market
ChaBot Mobility, a mobility platform company, participated in the TS Korean Transportation Safety Authority's '2025 TS Mongolia Voyager Accompanying Project,' laying a bridgehead for its entry into the Mongolian market. This project, held locally in Mongolia for four days starting September 6th as part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Support Program for Joint Advancement of Large and Small-Medium Enterprises,' served as an important opportunity to showcase ChaBot's integrated mobility solutions, going beyond simple product exports.
Through this project, ChaBot Mobility introduced an innovative integrated mobility solution to the Mongolian market, encompassing EV mini-trucks, automatic car wash systems, used car certification solutions, and automotive inspection digitization SaaS. Notably, they went beyond merely supplying products by proposing a localized industrial model that covers EV assembly, maintenance, inspection, and certification, opening up possibilities for sustainable business expansion. The B2C vehicle management app 'ChaBot,' which has secured over 720,000 users in Korea, and their experience operating a network of approximately 1,000 maintenance shops and dealers, served as a strong foundation for providing these integrated solutions.
Mongolia boasts a high vehicle penetration rate with a population of 3.5 million and over 1.4 million registered vehicles, yet its basic mobility infrastructure remains weak. There is a lack of maintenance, inspection, car wash, and certification systems. Furthermore, over 80% of imported vehicles are right-hand drive Japanese cars, which are incompatible with Mongolia's road system, leading to a high risk of traffic accidents. The absence of a system to guarantee used car quality, coupled with the harsh climate and poor car wash facilities, exacerbates inconvenience for drivers. ChaBot Mobility presented its solutions as the optimal alternative to resolve these chronic problems in Mongolia.
During the project period, the 'K-Mobility Meet-up Day' saw an enthusiastic response from local stakeholders. An official from the Mongolian Road Traffic Safety Authority expressed great interest, stating that ChaBot's integrated solutions could simultaneously address Mongolia's traffic safety issues and environmental improvement challenges. Local logistics companies noted the EV mini-truck's adaptability to low-temperature environments and its economic efficiency, expressing their willingness to discuss cooperation. Car wash operators also showed positive consideration for adopting automated equipment to ensure service stability during winter.
ChaBot Mobility already signed an agreement with the local Mongolian company Autoland last year and has been carrying out K-used car export business. This Voyager project is expected to be a significant turning point, further expanding the scope of business from existing areas to include EV supply and vehicle management infrastructure construction.
CEO Kang Sung-geun emphasized that this Mongolian Voyager project is "the first case of demonstrating a platform-based industrial model locally, going beyond simple product exports." He explained, "Mongolia, where the automotive market is growing and there is significant room for institutional and infrastructural improvement, is a strategic stronghold where ChaBot's data and platform capabilities can be effectively leveraged." He further expressed the ambition to leverage this experience to prove and expand ChaBot's competitiveness not only in Mongolia but also in global markets such as Japan and the United States. ChaBot Mobility's entry into the Mongolian market is expected to serve as an important stepping stone in proving the global competitiveness of Korean-style mobility platforms.
