Bungaejangter's ambitious global project, 'Bunjang Global,' is making waves on the world stage, achieving record-breaking results. Not only has it achieved the dazzling milestone of surpassing 1 million monthly active users (MAU), but its transaction volume in the first half of this year surged by a staggering 333% compared to the same period last year, and the number of transactions also skyrocketed by 345%, proving its overwhelming growth. Now, amidst the keen interest of users in over 60 countries worldwide, it is elevating the status of K-commerce.
The key to Bunjang Global's success lies in capturing the hearts of global fans for 'K-culture.' By showcasing 'MUDZ,' popular merchandise from the National Museum of Korea, overseas, it has opened up avenues for easy purchase of high-quality handicrafts even without visiting Korea. Furthermore, it is boldly expanding its sales territory beyond K-POP merchandise to traditional culture, with a special 'Open Exhibition' scheduled for the 15th, featuring rare traditional cultural items such as natural mother-of-pearl stickers and Minhwa Obok (five blessings) sets.
Premium pre-owned luxury goods transactions are also active. Last month, 'Michael Jordan signed shoes' sold for 8.5 million won to a US customer, breaking the platform's highest price record. This was followed by a series of jaw-droppingly expensive, high-value transactions, such as a 5.65 million won 'Pikachu PSA 10 Pokémon card' to Singapore, a 4.85 million won 'Loro Piana Cashmere Goose Down Padding' to China, and a 3.1 million won 'Chanel Vintage Classic Small Bag' to the US, demonstrating the potential of global re-commerce.
Thoughtful consideration for overseas K-POP fans is also notable. By providing 'POCA Template' for easy photo card information verification and 'K-WIKI,' a K-POP glossary, it is breaking down language and cultural barriers, enabling fans to communicate and transact more conveniently.
A Bungaejangter official stated that Bunjang Global's achievement of 1 million MAU is the 'starting gun for building a global re-commerce ecosystem,' expressing the ambition to lead a 'borderless used goods transaction culture' with differentiated technology and services. The future Bunjang Global will unfold is highly anticipated!
