Style commerce platform ABLY is injecting a new dynamism into the advertising market by officially launching 'Display Ads (DA)', an innovative advertising product for external companies and brands.
This product, which allows advertisements to be exposed in image and video formats on key placements within the ABLY app, moves beyond the existing seller-centric advertising structure. It opens up ABLY as a powerful channel for advertisers across a broad spectrum of industries, including content, entertainment, home appliances/digital, and food/beverages. By utilizing various high-attention placements such as the splash banner on the app's initial launch screen, as well as the benefits tab, content tab, search screen, and My Page, customized ad execution is possible depending on campaign objectives.
Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of an 'outlink (external connection)' feature, a first for a domestic e-commerce platform. This surpasses the limitation where existing e-commerce advertisements only linked to internal platform pages; now, an ad click directly connects to the advertiser's own app or website, allowing for the maximization of advertising effectiveness.
ABLY boasts the industry's largest user pool, built upon a highly loyal customer base of women in their 20s and 30s. It has demonstrated overwhelming influence, ranking first among specialized malls with 9.37 million monthly users, fifth in overall commerce, and first in vertical commerce with an average monthly usage time of 536 million minutes. This unparalleled traffic and active engagement rate are expected to offer advertisers significant target expansion and sales growth effects.
Various companies, including TVING, SM Entertainment, and Binggrae, have already experienced successful expansion of customer touchpoints through beta testing. Furthermore, collaborations with over 20 major media reps and advertising agencies, such as Nasmedia, Mezomedia, and Digitalfirst, are actively in progress.
To celebrate the launch, a '90 Days of Summer' promotion is underway for advertisers in industries related to the summer season.
