# AI-Revealed 2024 Padded Jacket Consumption Trends: Laundrigo Unveils with Big Data from 270,000 Items Euisikju Company, which operates the non-face-to-face mobile laundry service Laundrigo, has revealed interesting padded jacket consumption trends using its core technology, the 'AI Style Scanner'. This AI Style Scanner goes beyond merely classifying laundry; it serves as Laundrigo's brain, deeply analyzing a garment's brand, design, material, and even washing history to precisely understand customers' fashion patterns and preferences. It has already proven its capabilities last year by introducing eco-friendly products based on data from 4 million shirts. This analysis was based on an astonishing 279,606 padded jackets laundered through Laundrigo over the past year. The results were striking. The most frequently laundered padded jacket brand was, as expected, 'outdoor powerhouse' The North Face (11.9%), taking the lead, followed by Discovery Expedition (7.3%) and Nike (4.5%). Notably, Uniqlo (4.3%) ranked 5th, clearly indicating a consumption trend that prioritizes practicality and value for money. In the luxury padded jacket market, Moncler recorded an unrivaled 1st place with a 4.1% share (6th overall). The overwhelming annual laundry volume of 11,463 items allows us to gauge its popularity even among premium brands. Notably, the volume of items received from Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu amounted to 29.7% of the total Moncler laundry, offering a glimpse into the high purchasing power of these specific areas. In terms of criteria for padded jacket design selection, interesting differences in intended use were revealed. For Uniqlo padded jackets, 61.1% featured collarless V-neck or round-neck designs, indicating an overwhelmingly high utilization as lightweight and practical 'inner padding'. In contrast, the proportion of inner padding for Moncler and The North Face was merely 4.4% and 2.2% respectively, showing a tendency to be consumed primarily as outerwear. As expected, black overwhelmingly dominated padded jacket colors. However, white and beige colors showed a distinct difference depending on the brand's price range. While bright-colored padded jackets accounted for over 40% in mid-to-low priced brands, this figure remained around 20% in high-end brands, about half the amount. This is interpreted as a reflection of the practical concern that bright colors are more susceptible to stains. Seo Dong-hoon, Head of AI Technology at Euisikju Company, stated, "Laundrigo goes beyond mere high-quality laundry; based on the vast fashion data obtained through the AI Style Scanner, we will focus on providing ultra-personalized care solutions optimized for each individual customer," expressing his ambition to open a new chapter in future laundry services.
