YouTube is actively expanding its K-fashion commerce domain. Female fashion platform ABLY and male fashion platform 4910 have joined the YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program as new partners, further enriching creators' opportunities for revenue generation. Now, various fashion products from the two platforms can be directly linked via product tags in YouTube videos, Shorts, and live streams.
Introduced in Korea last June, this program has rapidly grown through partnerships with leading e-commerce platforms such as Coupang, Olive Young, and Zigzag. Within a year of its introduction, over 25,000 domestic creators participated, and as of March 2025, it has become so active that product tags have been applied to over 950,000 videos. The enthusiastic response to shopping content is also proven by statistics. As of February 2025, watch time for shopping-related content surged by over 300% compared to the previous year, and in July 2025, more than 15 million logged-in users performed shopping-related searches on YouTube.
ABLY is a leading domestic platform with approximately 100,000 fashion partners, and ABLY Corporation operates both the female platform ABLY and the male platform 4910. An ABLY official stated, "This partnership opens up opportunities for sellers' products to reach more customers," expressing their intention to support growth. A YouTube Shopping official also expressed anticipation, saying, "By expanding various partnerships, we will provide more choices for creators and a richer shopping experience for viewers."
