Wonderslab Enters Japan with Short-Form AI Agent
Wonders Lab, a company specializing in developing customized AI agents for businesses, is embarking on a venture into the Japanese market, spearheaded by 'WonderStory,' an AI agent tailored for short-form content. WonderStory is an innovative solution designed to target the rapidly expanding short-form drama market, supporting the entire storytelling process from content planning to scriptwriting and revision. It aims to reduce production costs by approximately 40% and shorten production time by up to 90%. Wonders Lab recently partnered with PlanitAI, a Japanese AI specialist company, to fully launch the localization, marketing, and distribution of WonderStory in Japan. Furthermore, the company is conducting technical and business feasibility verification (POC) with a Japanese video content platform company, thereby demonstrating the practical potential of AI-based content creation. The Japanese short-form drama market, projected to grow to approximately 470 billion Korean Won by 2029, currently has a low AI adoption rate, which is expected to lead to a surge in demand for efficient AI solutions like WonderStory. Beginning with its entry into the Japanese market, Wonders Lab plans to accelerate its expansion into the global AI agent market. Led by WonderStory, the strategy is to concurrently develop AI agent solutions specialized for various industries such as legal (WonderLaw), startup support, and education, thereby laying the groundwork for global vertical expansion. Indeed, a renowned Japanese creator who participated in a content production test utilizing WonderStory highly praised it, stating, "The short-form stories generated by WonderStory feature a clear plot progression and timeline, detailed character settings, and most impressively, significantly reduce production time." Han Eui-seon, CEO of Wonders Lab, stated that with the philosophy of "AI agents are colleagues, not just tools," the company "will fundamentally innovate the way global companies and creators produce stories." Beyond 'WonderStory,' the writer AI, Wonders Lab is at the forefront of developing and supplying various customized AI agents for different job roles, such as 'WonderLaw,' the paralegal AI, and marketer AI, transforming corporate work experience into knowledge and building evolving AI systems.
