## WIRobotics Achieves Innovation Award Feat for 3 Consecutive Years with 'WIM KIDS' at CES 2026! Opening the Future of Digital Health
WIRobotics, a leader in the global wearable robot market, once again proved its technological leadership by being honored with the Innovation Award in the 'Digital Health' category at CES 2026, held in Las Vegas, USA. This remarkable achievement, continuing for three consecutive years since 2024, serves to impress WIRobotics' relentless innovative capabilities upon the entire world.
The award-winning product is 'WIM KIDS', a wearable robot designed to assist walking for growing children. WIM KIDS goes beyond a simple walking aid, serving as a companion that supports children's healthy development, and it received high praise from the judges, particularly for its innovative technology. The technological pinnacle of WIM KIDS lies in its 'Growth-Adaptive Frame'. By applying a 3-stage interchangeable modular frame system that adapts to the rapidly growing leg length of children, it is designed to perfectly cover the key growth period from 4 to 15 years old with just one robot.
Innovation has also been achieved in terms of weight. WIM KIDS features an ultralight design of less than 1kg, making it over 37% lighter than the existing adult model (WIM S, 1.6kg). This ultralight mechanism, combined with AI personalized algorithms, implements optimal walking assistance without hindering the natural movements of growing children. During user testing, it received an overwhelming response from guardians, who called it "a robot that rekindles a child's desire to walk independently," demonstrating its ability to evoke deep empathy by providing emotional value beyond its technical functions.
Lee Yeon-baek, CEO of WIRobotics, expressed strong pride, stating, "We have continued the development of WIM KIDS under the philosophy that true innovation occurs when technology aids a child's will." CEO Lee emphasized, "WIM KIDS is the culmination of WIRobotics' core technologies, a robot that provides assistance optimized for the user's movements through a design based on children's growth data and an AI gait control algorithm." He added, "The expansion of such technology, beyond simple walking assistance, is expected to become a powerful force that creates positive changes in people's daily lives," presenting a future vision.
WIRobotics has already successfully entered the European and Chinese markets starting in 2025 with its ultralight wearable robots, receiving high evaluations in the local healthcare and senior-targeted exercise markets. This CES 2026 Innovation Award will be a significant turning point for WIRobotics to firmly establish itself as a wearable robot brand encompassing all generations, from children to seniors. Furthermore, WIRobotics unveiled its humanoid robot 'ALLEX' in August this year, presenting a new direction for robot technology, and continues to contribute to enriching human lives through ceaseless technological expansion.
