Wello Launches Public-Private 'Local Festa 2025,' Revitalizing Hometown Donation System
**The Meeting of Hometown Love and Innovative Technology: Wello Local Festa 2025 Concludes Successfully** A special festival, where the affection for one's hometown was shared and the future explored, was successfully held in the heart of Seoul. The 'Wello Local Festa 2025,' successfully hosted by Gov-Tech company Wello on the 30th at Conrad Hotel Yeouido, Seoul, was the highlight. This festa was arranged as a meaningful venue where donors participating in the Hometown Love Donation System, local government officials, and general citizens gathered to communicate. Approximately 1,000 visitors graced the event with their presence. Ten local governments from across the nation actively participated, including Gangneung (Gangwon), Yeongju (Gyeongbuk), Tongyeong (Gyeongnam), Nam-gu and Seo-gu (Gwangju), Jeollanam-do Provincial Office, Yeongam (Jeollanam-do), Imsil (Jeollabuk-do), Jeju Provincial Office, and Nonsan (Chungcheongnam-do), operating various promotional booths and showcasing the charm of their regions. The event commenced with a vision briefing by Wello CEO Kim Yurianna. CEO Kim explained the crucial role of Gov-Tech in effectively connecting government and local government policies with beneficiaries, presenting a blueprint for future administration to be created by innovative technology. Concurrently, citizens who significantly contributed to the revitalization of the Hometown Love Donation System were awarded the 'Hometown Love Impact Award' in recognition of their efforts. Each local government booth captured visitors' attention with a variety of souvenir gifts that fully embodied their regional characteristics. Abundant special additional benefits were also provided for on-site donors, including Gangneung's delicate perfumes, Yeongju's luscious apple packages, and Tongyeong's beautiful mother-of-pearl lacquerware craft demonstrations, which drew admiration. Diverse local specialties, such as premium Hanwoo beef, crisp kimchi, high-quality rice, and cute local character dolls, became the proud faces of each region, bringing joy to visitors. Beyond simple viewing, experiential content that allowed visitors to directly participate and experience also received great enthusiasm. The 'Motivation Vending Machine' encouraged the spread of positive influence by having Wello donate 1,000 won on behalf of visitors simply by placing their palm on it. A photo zone where donors' precious names were engraved offered meaningful memories. CEO Kim Yurianna stated, "The Hometown Love Donation System is a valuable channel for expressing affection for one's region," adding, "We will work closely with local governments in each region to widely promote the value of the system and further support the operation of the Hometown Love Donation System more efficiently based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology." Wello is already leading the Gov-Tech sector by providing customized souvenir gifts and regional information for each local government through AI-based administrative services, and by offering one-stop services from donation limit inquiries to easy payments, perfectly integrated with the Ministry of Interior and Safety's system.
