Seoul National University student startup team Sigonggan has ambitiously unveiled version 3.0 of 'Pick for Me,' an innovative AI shopping app for the visually impaired. This update significantly enhances AI-based product search and information summarization features, allowing visually impaired users to shop more easily and conveniently. Furthermore, a UI/UX overhaul prioritizing accessibility provides an optimized experience for screen reader users. This is a result of actively incorporating vivid user feedback, further elevating shopping independence and convenience. In addition, the premium membership service 'Pick for Me Plus' has been newly launched, promising even more personalized shopping support. The core of 'Pick for Me Plus' is a Q&A service that combines AI's rapid information processing capabilities with the meticulous advice of professional managers. Membership subscribers can ask unlimited questions about products to the AI, and for more complex or in-depth inquiries, they can consult with a manager up to 30 times a month, offering an experience akin to having a personal shopping assistant. A Sigonggan official emphasized, "Pick for Me 3.0 was meticulously designed to resolve the difficulties visually impaired individuals face in real shopping situations and to enable them to enjoy shopping independently through enhanced AI and a screen reader-friendly environment."
