Real-time identification of illegal parking through AI-based license plate scanning, maximizing apartment management efficiency Proptech company Trustay has introduced 'Knocktown Manager,' a dedicated app designed to accelerate the digital transformation of apartment management. This app, which links with the existing integrated platform 'Knocktown,' is expected to significantly enhance the work efficiency and real-time on-site responsiveness of field managers. The 'Knocktown Manager' app provides a total of six core digitized functions, including civil complaint management, announcements, parking violation vehicle management, visitor vehicle management, and entry/exit history confirmation. Among these, the most notable feature is the 'Parking Violation' function, which applies AI image recognition technology. This technology, trained by Trustay's Computer Vision-based AI, allows managers to scan vehicle license plates with the app, and the AI then identifies the vehicle's registration status in real-time (green: registered, red: unregistered/illegal parking). This enables quick and accurate identification and action against illegally parked vehicles. This function has been pilot-applied since early June in an apartment in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, and has received a strong positive response from residents. The manager of the apartment stated, expressing satisfaction, "We have significantly saved time spent on enforcing double parking and illegal parking, allowing us to handle civil complaints and enforcement actions more quickly." Lee Seung-oh, CEO of Trustay, stated that "the 'Knocktown Manager' app is more than just an auxiliary tool; it is a core solution that accelerates the digital transformation of complex operations." He added, "Going forward, we will continue to advance functions based on our unique technological capabilities to enhance the practical convenience for both residents and managers." Meanwhile, 'Knocktown' is an integrated residential management platform used by approximately 400 apartment complexes and 400,000 households nationwide, offering over 30 diverse convenience features, from visitor parking to electronic voting.
