The Pinkfong Company Selected to Lead ₩10 Billion K-Content AI Innovation

Global family entertainment leader The Pinkfong Company has been proudly selected as the lead organization for the '2025 K-Content AI Innovation Leading Project', spearheaded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency. This large-scale, state-led project, with a total investment of 10 billion KRW, will accelerate the creation of a next-generation content industry ecosystem equipped with global competitiveness through the innovative convergence of AI technology and cultural content. The Pinkfong Company has elevated the status of K-content by successfully expanding super IPs such as 'Pinkfong', 'Baby Shark', and 'Bebefinn' across 244 countries and 25 languages worldwide. Its extensive business expansion experience across YouTube, movies, series, music, performances, products, etc., and its AI-based content production system were recognized, leading to its selection as a key player in this project. The highlight of this project is Korea's first global AI immersive exhibition. As an advanced interactive exhibition that responds in real-time to visitors' movements, facial expressions, and voices, it organically combines cutting-edge AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLM), Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Computer Vision (CV). In particular, by integrating generative AI technology into the IP's worldview, it plans to offer innovative interactions where visitors can directly converse and exchange emotions with characters, with an opening targeted for next year. Led by The Pinkfong Company, Phibly, a specialist in immersive media, Selectstar, excelling in AI development and 3D implementation, POZAlabs, in AI music, and DAVEREOART, in AI media art – the best companies in each field – will form an AI-content convergence consortium to create synergy. Furthermore, based on image and video data generated by visitors, by linking to AI commerce and follow-up product development, it plans to propose new business models. CEO Kim Min-seok stated, "The combination of AI technology and K-content will unlock the possibilities of new experience-based exhibitions and present a new turning point for K-content," and expressed his ambition to further expand K-content's global influence through innovative IP experience models that blend AI, storytelling, and emotion. Meanwhile, The Pinkfong Company is in the process of an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for its listing on KOSDAQ.
