Team Sparta, a leader in IT innovation, successfully concluded a special journey for corporate Human Resources Development (HRD) professionals: the 'AI and 100 Warriors Season 2' hackathon. The core objective of this event was to help HRD personnel utilize AI to solve real-world business problems and, furthermore, to enable them to directly build AI hackathon operating models optimized for their respective organizations.
Professionals from various job functions, including HR, education, marketing, planning, sales, and customer support, gathered from a total of 88 companies and participated enthusiastically. Under four differentiated strategies – 'practitioner-centered education,' 'immersive overnight program,' 'practical outcome-oriented,' and 'collaboration-based learning' – participants formed teams to deeply analyze on-site problems and directly designed and implemented innovative solutions incorporating AI technology. The close support from professional tutors and the easy web application development environment based on Streamlit greatly empowered non-developer professionals to skillfully bring their ideas to fruition.
Lee Beom-gyu, CEO of Team Sparta, stated, "This hackathon aimed to provide clear guidelines necessary for companies to independently adopt and proliferate practical AI hackathons," emphasizing the importance of experience in solving real business challenges. As a result, a variety of AI solutions, shining with the creativity and practicality of the participants, were born.
The grand prize honor went to the 'Signal Me' team, which transforms ambiguous work instructions into clear action plans. This service analyzes messages from CEOs or superiors to propose personalized action plans, clearly indicating the direction of work. The 'Teamder' team, which helps form teams like a dating app, won the top excellence award, and the 'Career Translator' team, which transforms ordinary careers into impactful 'unconventional' careers, won the excellence award, proving the originality of each team. In addition to these, a flood of ideas immediately applicable to practical work, such as talent recruitment management, psychological analysis, and leader competency development, emerged.
The 'Signal Me' team commented, "We were able to vividly experience the contribution of AI in solving real-world business challenges," adding, "The biggest achievement was directly creating a solution immediately applicable to our organization." Participants highly praised the close coaching from the organizers, the expertise of the tutors, and the high accessibility designed to allow even non-developers to easily create AI services. The hackathon venue was filled with enthusiasm, featuring a wealth of participatory programs such as AI learning materials, specially produced 'power-up kits,' 'lucky draws,' and 'mini-games.'
Team Sparta plans to continue supporting optimized hackathon design and operation tailored to various industries and corporate characteristics, and will continuously lead AI-based innovative organizational transformation.
