IT education startup TeamSparta has released the '2024 Sparta Bootcamp Report', detailing the successful entry trends of its program graduates into the IT industry. This demonstrates that TeamSparta has established itself as a key player in fostering IT talent. Having produced 7,189 graduates in 2024 alone, TeamSparta, which has recorded explosive growth of over 24 times since its founding in 2021, is successfully operating 36 practice-oriented educational courses in both development and non-development areas, including 'Naeil Baeum Camp' (KDT program) and 'Hanghae99'. According to the report's analysis, 60.88% of graduates were in their late 20s to early 30s, an age group highly active in employment and job changes. Of these, 56.7% were currently employed, 21.7% were building on previous work experience, and 21.6% were preparing for their first job search. Particularly noteworthy is the balanced ratio between those with relevant academic backgrounds (engineering fields at 50.7%) and those without (49.3%). The proportion of those with relevant academic backgrounds increased by 8.9% compared to the previous year, driven by a desire to acquire the latest trends and practical skills that are difficult to learn through traditional educational systems. The proportion of graduates with relevant academic backgrounds was particularly high in UX/UI (65.12%), backend development (53.26%), and app development (51.67%) courses. Graduates cited 'project-based, practical curriculum' (68.45%) as the greatest strength of Sparta Bootcamp, and also showed high satisfaction with 'employment support programs' (43%), including unlimited resume and interview coaching and the 'Baro Internship' system. Notably, the 'Baro Internship' system, where TeamSparta fully covers activity support funds and provides internship opportunities at partner companies, demonstrated its contribution to actual employment connections, with 279 graduates benefiting from 94 partner companies in 2024 alone. Among the industries graduates entered after completion, 'Solution/SI/SM/ERP' (36.04%) was the most common, followed by 'Education/IT Consulting' (15.71%), and 'E-commerce/Shopping Mall' (10.42%). The entry into the 'Game Industry' (8.96%), tracked for the first time in 2024, suggests that practical skills gained from Unity game development courses are directly leading to career growth. Lee Beom-kyu, CEO of TeamSparta, stated, "This report demonstrates that TeamSparta's practical education model plays a pivotal role in equipping graduates with strong competitiveness in a rapidly changing industry environment." He added, "We will spare no effort in developing curricula that actively reflect technological and industrial trends, and provide realistic support across all industries, to enable talents from diverse backgrounds to unleash their potential."
