A wind of digital innovation is blowing through Myeongdong's commercial district. T.Order Stay has partnered with the Myeongdong Merchants Association and Hotel Skypark to launch a groundbreaking 'Myeongdong Pick-up and Delivery Service' for foreign tourists and hotel guests, opening up new horizons for tourism experiences. Now, Hotel Skypark guests can easily enjoy Myeongdong's diverse cuisine and shopping from the comfort of their rooms.
This service, specifically designed to alleviate the inconvenience faced by foreign tourists who struggle with using domestic delivery apps, allows for easy ordering of various restaurant foods from the Myeongdong area via in-room tablets or QR codes. Ordered food can be conveniently picked up without waiting at designated pick-up zones within the restaurants, offering the special pleasure of savoring dishes from famous eateries leisurely at the hotel.
T.Order Stay's vision does not stop here. The current pick-up focused service is planned to expand into a 'delivery service' that brings orders directly to hotel room doors in the future. Furthermore, there are plans to gradually expand affiliated stores beyond dining establishments, including Myeongdong Yanggwa (Myeongdong Confectionery), to include beauty and shopping sectors. Specifically, through collaboration with duty-free shops, guests will be able to enjoy shopping more conveniently from the hotel, and the company aims to provide comprehensive interconnected services covering accommodation and the local commercial district for Myeongdong visitors.
Kim Yong-woon, CEO of T.Order Stay, emphasized, "Ultimately, we will expand to a delivery service so that hotel guests can enjoy all conveniences in their rooms, and we will continuously develop a win-win model where hotels and local commercial districts grow together." Starting with this Myeongdong project, T.Order Stay plans to build innovative digital services connecting hotels and local commercial districts in major tourist destinations, thereby opening a new future for Korean tourism.
