**Daejeon, 'Super:Con' Officially Kicks Off to Foster Startups Leading the Future of K-Content**
The '2025 Super:Con Accelerating Program,' a key project designed for Daejeon to leap forward as a new cradle of the K-content industry, has finally been unveiled. This ambitious program, hosted by the Daejeon Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Daejeon Content Enterprise Support Center) and co-managed by professional operator Company A, was planned with the goal of accelerating the growth of promising local startups and strengthening their global competitiveness.
On the 5th, a kick-off day announcing the successful launch of the program was successfully held at the Daejeon Content Enterprise Support Center in Mannyendong, Daejeon. Approximately 20 people, including officials from Daejeon City, the Daejeon Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency, Company A, and representatives of the selected startups, attended the event, opening a new chapter of collaboration amidst great enthusiasm.
For this 'Super:Con Accelerating' program, five highly potential content startups based in the Daejeon area – namely Wetiv, H-Solutions, Tongtong Workshop, Candidat, and Blindlip – were finally selected and have embarked on a three-month journey of innovation. They will be provided with a systematic growth roadmap that combines the robust support infrastructure of public institutions and the expertise of private accelerators.
Over the next three months, participating companies will have the opportunity to further enhance their business capabilities through customized investment consulting, 1:1 in-depth mentoring, financial and investment counseling, and special lectures by top experts in the content field. Above all, focusing on actual investment attraction, they will receive full support including direct investment and follow-up investment connections, as well as the establishment of domestic and international investor networks.
The program will culminate in a Demo Day. Here, participating companies will showcase their unique technologies and innovative business models to the public, and seek opportunities for new market entry through meetings with potential investors and partners.
Go Sang-woo, Head of the Content Business Division at the Daejeon Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency, emphasized, "We will spare no effort in providing various financial and non-financial linked support, in addition to this program, to ensure that Super:Con participating companies achieve sustainable growth," promising full support. Jo Byeong-hyeon, CEO of Company A, also expressed his aspiration, saying, "We will actively contribute to vitalizing Daejeon's content startup ecosystem and securing global market competitiveness through the discovery and strategic support of promising startups."
Attention is drawn to the successful progress of this program, which is expected to be a significant turning point for Daejeon in producing innovative startups that will lead the future of the K-content industry and vitalizing the local startup ecosystem.
