The future of the fashion industry has unfolded before our eyes! The ‘GENCY Tech Forum,’ hosted by fashion tech startup StudioLab, successfully concluded amidst keen interest from over 150 fashion brand representatives. On the 15th, the Korea Federation of Textile Industries transformed into a venue where participants could directly experience the innovation AI will bring to fashion. In particular, the real-time demonstration of StudioLab's AI-based automated fashion product detail page creation service, ‘GENCY,’ drew gasps of admiration from attendees. At the on-site booth, participants had the opportunity to create product detail pages using their own products. Many reportedly couldn't hide their astonishment at the magic of AI unfolding before their eyes, captivated by the overwhelming speed and surprising quality of the detail pages completed in just 15 seconds. In addition to StudioLab, other innovative solutions poised to lead future fashion tech were also introduced, capturing significant attention. These included startup Drap's sophisticated lookbook creation solution ‘Drapart’ and Mitaun's precise fashion product 3D modeling automation solution ‘Evova.’ The depth of the event was further enriched by the insights of experts who are breaking down the boundaries between fashion and technology. Designer Ko Tae-yong, Lee Bong-jin, CEO of XYZ Plus (former CEO of Zara Korea), and Baek Chan, CEO of Stitch It, participated as special speakers, sharing valuable perspectives on the paradigm shifts and future trends that AI technology will bring to the fashion industry. Kang Sung-hoon, CEO of StudioLab, emphasized, "Through this forum, we provided an opportunity to directly experience the innovative changes that AI technology will bring to the fashion industry," adding that they will continue to provide unwavering support for fashion brands and small business owners to effectively utilize AI through events like the 'GENCY Tech Forum.' This forum clearly demonstrated that AI is no longer a distant future but a core driving force to innovate the productivity and creativity of the fashion industry right now.
