STCLab Launches Cloud-based Bot Blocker 'BotManager Pro'

STCLab, a company specializing in web service traffic management, has newly introduced its macro detection and blocking solution 'M.Buster' as the innovative SaaS (Software as a Service)-based 'BotManager Pro'. Launched on the 11th, BotManager Pro is designed to enable businesses to easily respond to macro issues with just a software download, without the need for separate server infrastructure. With this SaaS transition, domestic and international customers can constantly prepare for macro attacks through a subscription model, and companies that only need it at specific times can make flexible choices, such as using the service via a one-time contract. Additionally, STCLab directly manages security patches and updates, significantly reducing the maintenance burden on customers. Of course, the existing on-premise method is still supported for customers requiring high security standards. Recently, the monopolization of concert and sports event tickets using macros has emerged as a social issue, even being included in the '9 Key Targeted Pledges' proposed by President Lee Jae-myung. As the strengthening of fair reservation systems and punishment for scalpers are emphasized, STCLab anticipates a further increase in market demand for macro blocking solutions. BotManager Pro has already proven its performance. Recently applied to a large ticketing service, it analyzed approximately 200 million traffic requests and achieved the remarkable success of successfully detecting and blocking 43 million macros, accounting for 21% of the total.
