## Innovation in HR Technology: Specter Brings a New Wave to Recruitment Culture with the Launch of AI-based Interview Analysis App 'TEO'
HR tech company Specter is bringing a new wave to the recruitment market by launching 'TEO,' an AI-based interview analysis mobile app designed to solve long-standing challenges in the interview process, in open beta.
Based on Specter's core technological capabilities, TEO is an innovative app that automatically classifies and analyzes conversations between interviewers and candidates by question and answer units, providing in-depth insights. In particular, it is linked with candidate reputation data accumulated through Specter's existing 'reputation check' service, enabling more sophisticated analysis. Simply by turning on the app and pressing the start button, interview content is automatically recorded and analyzed, reducing hassle.
The launch of TEO is expected to bring positive changes for various stakeholders involved in interviews.
**Enhanced Transparency and Fairness for Candidates:**
According to Specter's survey, more than half of candidates wanted feedback after their interviews. Reflecting these demands, TEO helps candidates easily check feedback based on their answers through interview reviews. Thanks to Specter's excellent speaker separation technology, analysis uses only the candidate's answers, allowing companies to rest assured that interviewers' questions will not be leaked externally.
Furthermore, it also offers a solution to the "unpleasant question" issue that many candidates have experienced. By providing a function for candidates to report questions that induce sexual harassment, gender discrimination, or regional/political bias—such as 'plans for children after joining the company,' 'alcohol consumption,' 'hometown,' or 'political leanings'—directly to the company after the interview, it contributes to creating a more positive and fair interview environment.
**Increased Efficiency and Professionalism for Recruiters and Interviewers:**
TEO also provides powerful advantages for recruiters and interviewers. Recruiters, even without directly participating in interviews, can receive in-depth analysis reports covering candidate characteristics, concerns during collaboration, question comprehension, etc., allowing them to quickly grasp interview content and make accurate decisions. Furthermore, through the interviewer training curriculum provided in the TEO app, interviewer training can be effectively managed.
Interviewers can fully concentrate on conversations with candidates without the burden of separate note-taking. Along with the analysis results, a feature recommending additional questions that can be used for the same position is also provided, adding depth to second interviews and enabling quick and accurate hiring decisions.
Specter CEO Yoon Kyung-wook stated, "Interviews are a crucial process for companies and candidates to understand each other. If our 'platform-based reputation check' 4 years ago allowed capable candidates to receive fair treatment, TEO will now help truly talented individuals receive fair treatment during the interview process." It remains to be seen whether Specter's TEO will become a new milestone in the innovation of recruitment culture.
