Deep-tech startup Simtoreal has been finally selected for the '2025 Global Enterprise Collaboration Program (Trust my tech)' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Next Challenge, establishing a strong bridgehead for global market entry. Through this selection, Simtoreal seized the opportunity to collaborate with global companies, including the French defense giant Thales. This is expected to serve as a stepping stone for Simtoreal to fully showcase its satellite and aerial image AI interpretation solutions, utilizing its self-developed synthetic data technology, to overseas markets. The 'Global Enterprise Collaboration Program' is a highly competitive program involving 13 global companies, including Google Play, Intel, L'Oréal, and Microsoft. It targets domestic startups with innovative technologies, and selected companies receive comprehensive support from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, including commercialization funds of up to 200 million won, specialized training, customized consulting, and global PoC (Proof of Concept). Simtoreal possesses unique capabilities in generating high-resolution synthetic data, similar to actual satellite imagery, through GIS (Geographic Information System)-based large-scale digital twin virtual environment automation technology. Based on this, it has developed AI models that accurately interpret military targets and disaster situations. Particularly in the defense and disaster response sectors, where securing real data is extremely difficult and sensitive, Simtoreal's synthetic data solution is highly valued as an innovative alternative that drastically reduces the time and cost required for AI model development. This program selection provides Simtoreal with an excellent opportunity to pursue joint PoCs with overseas defense and satellite-related companies, including Thales, and to conduct global certifications and technology verifications. Through this, Simtoreal plans to further accelerate its expansion into the European and US markets. Jeon Dahyung, CEO of Simtoreal, stated, "The selection for this 'Trust my tech' program is an authoritative validation of our technological prowess and global expansion potential," adding, "We will secure key talent through the ongoing Pre-A investment round and further accelerate our entry into the global market."
