Pop-up store waiting times, now enjoyed without a moment of boredom! Sweetspot, a company specializing in pop-up stores, has officially launched the 'POPGA Seongsu Pass' in conjunction with its pop-up information platform 'POPGA'. This is an innovative service designed to allow visitors to Seongsu-dong pop-up stores to efficiently utilize long waiting times and furthermore, to experience Seongsu-dong's attractive local brands. The POPGA Seongsu Pass offers up to 50% discounts or free menu benefits at 65 food and beverage establishments around Dong-seo Yeonmujang-gil. Users can enjoy these special benefits with a simple authentication in the 'MY Tab' within the 'POPGA' app. Sweetspot collaborated with Park Jin-woo, CEO of 'Seongsu Textbook,' a local Seongsu-dong magazine and an advisor to the company, to carefully select affiliated stores. Through this, the goal is for pop-up store visitors to naturally connect with local brands, ultimately strengthening the organic link between pop-up stores and local commercial districts, and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. Kim Jeong-su, CEO of Sweetspot, also stated, "We focused on transforming waiting times into new brand experiences," expressing a strong commitment to improving the consumer experience. Amid pop-up store waiting times that can reach up to 6 hours on weekends, the POPGA Seongsu Pass provides real value to visitors. Popular Seongsu-dong establishments such as Godeat (Seongsu Holy Water Branch), Beurre Beurre Seongsu Main Branch, and Seoul Brewery are already participating as affiliate partners, drawing anticipation. Sweetspot will not stop here; it plans to further develop in-app walking directions and user-preference-based recommendation features. Furthermore, it plans to expand the service, currently centered around Yeonmujang-gil, to the entire Seongsu area, and broaden its scope beyond F&B to various sectors such as fashion/beauty and lifestyle. Sweetspot, a pop-up specialized company established in 2015, is developing various businesses, including 'Sweetspot Stage' and the permanent multi-IP merchandise store 'POPGA Store'. In particular, the POPGA app, officially launched last February, offers customized recommendations, real-time waiting status, and the ability to register pop-ups of interest to a calendar, securing over 64,000 users in a short period and solidifying its unique position.
