Kim Dong-shin, CEO of Sendbird, has opened a new horizon in global AI communication. He announced an AI agent strategy that breaks the boundaries of existing chatbots, aiming for proactive interaction and efficient business operations. The core of this announcement is 'Agent-to-Agent collaboration (A2A)'. CEO Kim emphasized that the A2A economy is not just a simple concept but a rapidly materializing change already being applied in reality, and presented a future where AI agents communicate with each other to innovate business processes. Sendbird's AI agents boast powerful performance in customer support and sales. They remember customer inquiries, respond proactively, and automatically handle tasks such as order changes, refunds, and account settings. In sales, they seamlessly automate the entire sales process, from personalized recommendations through customer data analysis to price negotiation and contract signing. Companies can quickly build customized agents tailored to their brand through the 'AI Agent Builder,' which allows for creating AI agents without code, and the 'AI Agent Platform,' optimized for large-scale environments. Integration with various channels such as KakaoTalk and WhatsApp is also supported. Numerous companies, both domestically and internationally, have already adopted AI agents and are achieving remarkable results, including an improvement of up to 97% in customer response success rates. In particular, Lotte Home Shopping adopted Sendbird's AI agent 'Moni' to innovate its partner onboarding and QA processes. This case, where operational efficiency was significantly increased by supporting an average of 53 partner onboardings per day and instant translation of English and Chinese documents, clearly demonstrates the potential of AI agents. Sendbird is currently enhancing the performance of its AI agents, focusing on customer support and sales, and has announced its ambition to expand the application scope of AI agents across all business areas, including public relations, marketing, delivery/ordering, finance, and legal affairs, thereby leading an era of full automation based on A2A. CEO Kim Dong-shin affirmed the future vision, emphasizing, "Sendbird will support companies in building an A2A-based automated business environment through AI agents."
