Presenting the future of global AI security, leading AI startup Selectstar drew worldwide attention at MWC2025. Selectstar successfully hosted the innovative 'Global AI Red Team Challenge,' which detects vulnerabilities in generative AI, solidifying its leadership in the field of AI reliability verification. Held in Barcelona on the 5th (local time), the competition saw fierce rivalry among over 100 AI experts from more than 10 countries, including China, Japan, the United States, and Europe. Out of 335 pre-registered applicants, the final participants carried out prompt attacks on various LLMs, such as LG Uplus's IXIJEN and UAE's TelecomGPT, through Selectstar's self-developed platform, identifying potential threats. Co-hosted with GSMA, Selectstar played a central role in all aspects, from operating the competition platform to formulating problems and reviewing responses, imprinting the importance of AI security on a global scale. The final victory went to Tu Müzhen Tomishi, an expert from Singapore, who identified the most generative AI errors. Notably, at this event, Selectstar unveiled its self-developed generative AI reliability verification automation solution, 'DATUMO Eval,' for the first time, attracting significant interest from global companies. This solution is evaluated to have opened new horizons in the AI security market by showcasing innovative features that automatically analyze and verify the reliability of AI services. Hwang Min-young, VP of Selectstar, stated, "Through the inaugural Global Red Team Challenge at MWC25 and the unveiling of the 'DATUMO Eval' solution, we reconfirmed that verifying the reliability of AI models is a critical global challenge." He added, "At next year's MWC, we are planning an even larger-scale challenge with GSMA and e&, and we will strengthen cooperation with global experts and partners to provide innovative AI security solutions across various industries." Selectstar plans to leverage this achievement to expand its influence within the global AI ecosystem.
