Santa Leads Education's Digital Transformation with 'AI SAM'

An innovative change poised to lead the future of education is beginning at the EdTech startup Santa. Santa is accelerating the development of 'AI SAM,' an artificial intelligence system that automates the entire spectrum of education, setting an ambitious goal of completion within this year. This is expected to open new horizons in educational methods. AI SAM, set to be integrated as a core feature into Santa's flagship online education platform 'Didi-Ssam,' is a system where AI proactively automates the entire educational process, from learner analysis, curriculum design, content creation, and learning execution, to evaluation and recommendations. Ultimately, its goal is to maximize the operational efficiency of educational institutions while simultaneously providing personalized learning experiences optimized for each individual learner. The development of AI SAM is proceeding according to a systematic roadmap. Currently, features for analyzing learner levels using AI diagnostic technology and automatically designing personalized learning paths based on this are under active development, and a function to automatically generate curricula using AI instructional design technology is also set to be unveiled soon. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that a function for AI to automatically produce core content such as lecture videos, problems, and learning materials is targeting commercialization in the first half of this year. Following this, in the second half of the year, AI-based consulting and marketing functions will be added to achieve comprehensive optimization from learner recruitment to operation. Santa's innovations are already acting as a catalyst, accelerating the digital transformation across the entire education market. Major domestic private education institutions like Megastudy, Montessori, and Kidschole are utilizing Didi-Ssam to enhance learning efficiency, and higher education institutions such as Ulsan University, Changwon University, and Pusan National University are actively implementing AI technology for lecture design and learning management. Furthermore, corporations and public institutions including DB CNS, the Post Office, Megamart, and Dr.G are also adopting Santa's technology to increase operational efficiency through the automation of employee training. Alongside this widespread adoption, Santa is demonstrating rapid growth, recording sales growth significantly exceeding 50% compared to the previous year in 2024. Park Gi-woong, CEO of Santa, emphasized, "The completion of AI SAM will be a significant process that sets new standards for educational operations," adding, "I am confident that through this, personalized learning will become more sophisticated, and the operational efficiency of educational institutions will be maximized unprecedentedly." Santa has attracted a cumulative investment of 3.3 billion won through Series A funding, and plans to actively support educational institutions in their efficient and future-oriented operations by dedicating these funds to continuous research and development.
