S2W Joins Interpol Public-Private Partnership
S2W Selected as Partner for INTERPOL’s ‘Gateway Initiative’…Pioneering Global Cyber Security Enhancement S2W, a leading South Korean big data analysis artificial intelligence (AI) company, has achieved a remarkable feat by joining as a new partner in INTERPOL's 'Gateway Initiative,' a key public-private partnership program. This marks the first time a South Korean company has joined the program, signifying international recognition of S2W's unique AI-based data intelligence technology. The 'Gateway Initiative' aims to integrate advanced data and technologies held by private companies with INTERPOL's extensive global law enforcement network, to provide 'Actionable Intelligence' that can be immediately utilized in real investigations. Information provided by partners is meticulously analyzed and processed at INTERPOL's 'Cyber Fusion Centre' before being swiftly disseminated to law enforcement agencies in 196 member countries worldwide, helping each country proactively respond to cyber threats and efficiently secure data intelligence. S2W has become the twelfth partner in this program, which currently involves 11 companies and organizations leading the AI and security fields worldwide. The list of participating companies includes global giants such as Cisco, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Palo Alto Networks, and Trend Micro, making S2W's addition even more noteworthy. This partnership is a natural extension of the cooperative relationship that S2W and INTERPOL have steadily built over the past six years. Since 2020, S2W has closely collaborated with INTERPOL's Cybercrime Directorate, contributing to various international investigations, including the apprehension of international ransomware organizations, and has actively participated in INTERPOL-hosted conferences to explore ways to strengthen international security. S2W's strategy is to leverage its data intelligence technology, proven through its partnership with INTERPOL, to accelerate its expansion into overseas markets and firmly establish itself as a leading company in the global security AI market. Neil Walsh, Director of INTERPOL's Cybercrime Directorate, stated, "We sincerely welcome S2W's participation in the Gateway Initiative, and we anticipate that their expertise and technological capabilities will significantly strengthen INTERPOL's capacity to combat transnational cybercrime." S2W CEO Suh Sang-duk commented, "Our participation in the Gateway Initiative is a meaningful opportunity to once again receive international recognition for the distinctiveness of S2W's AI-based big data analysis technology." He added, "Moving forward, we will expand our cooperation with global public sector entities, including foreign government agencies and international organizations, to contribute to building a proactive and practical response system against global cyber threats." This partnership by S2W is expected to open new horizons in cybersecurity and play a pivotal role in strengthening international security.
