Rootfinders Selected as Top Company for Google Changgu AI Study Jam

Rootfinders, which enhances digital accessibility for the visually impaired with its innovative AI technology, is drawing attention after achieving brilliant results in the 'Changgu Program Season 7,' jointly organized by Google Play and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Rootfinders not only successfully completed this program but also achieved the feat of winning the 'Outstanding Participating Company Award' in the 'AI Study Jam' category, which tests AI technology learning capabilities. The largest number of participants among all participating companies completed the AI training course, proving the entire organization's outstanding willingness and ability to learn technology, and even one of their developers won the individual 'Outstanding Participation Award'. At the core of this technological capability is 'EasyPlus', a smart portal platform developed by Rootfinders. EasyPlus reconstructs general mobile content such as news and games by optimizing it for the visually impaired user environment. In particular, it applies its unique 'Noiseless' technology, which removes unnecessary menus and advertisements and delivers only essential information via voice, along with sophisticated image captioning technology, to help the visually impaired use smartphones more independently. Participation in this program became an important opportunity for Rootfinders to solidify and reorganize its service's AI pipeline and clearly establish future directions for feature advancement. Participating developers stated that by directly applying Google's in-depth AI and agent lectures to their practical work, they were able to discover new ideas for service development. Kim Jong-guk, CEO of Rootfinders, stated that all these achievements are thanks to the voluntary efforts and capability enhancement of its members, and that, based on their accumulated AI technology, they are determined to significantly improve media accessibility for the digitally underprivileged, including the visually impaired. Rootfinders plans to continue close collaboration with Google Play, actively pursuing expanded partnerships and Proof of Concept (PoC) for successful entry into global markets, such as North America.
