Ringle, a leader in digital-based English learning, is introducing its innovative 'AI Phone English' service, breathing new life into the English education market.
This service works by having an AI tutor call the user directly at their desired time, providing an experience much like conversing with a real person. It builds upon the existing 'AI Speaking' features such as phrase learning, role-playing, and textbook-based discussion, by adding a powerful new capability: the ability to engage in real-time, practical conversations with the AI anytime.
A particularly noteworthy feature is the highly personalized learning experience. Users can freely select not only the accents of various AI tutors (e.g., American, British, Indian, Australian, Singaporean), but also their gender, speaking speed, and conversation difficulty, which greatly helps them adapt to diverse, real-world English environments.
During the call, the AI tutor's questions are displayed on screen simultaneously in English and Korean, allowing even beginners to easily follow the conversation. Immediately after the call ends, users can instantly check the full conversation transcript and the number of words they spoke. But that's not all. The 'AI Analysis' feature provides scores for four key areas: grammatical accuracy, pronunciation, fluency, and sentence complexity, as well as detailed feedback including sentence-by-sentence error analysis and suggestions for improvement, helping learners accurately identify their weaknesses and develop effectively.
Another strength of Ringle's AI Phone English is that the AI remembers the user's previous conversations. This enables a natural and consistent learning experience, similar to successive lessons with a human tutor, and maximizes the effect of repetitive learning, which is essential for long-term English proficiency improvement. The convenience of learning is also excellent, as users can start a conversation anytime, even outside of scheduled times.
Lee Seung-hoon, co-CEO of Ringle, stated that it is "a next-generation learning tool that allows convenient conversation anywhere, anytime, and provides AI-based personalized feedback," emphasizing that Ringle will continue to enhance learner-led education through AI technology.
Furthermore, Ringle plans to continue enhancing its service by introducing a 'League' feature within Q3 that allows users to compare and compete on learning progress, and a group pricing plan that multiple users can utilize together.
