## AI Savior Leading Restaurant Industry Innovation, Integrated Solution 'RestoGenie' Officially Launched
As restaurant owners' sighs deepen amidst soaring delivery fees and advertising burdens, an AI-based integrated food tech solution, 'RestoGenie,' has emerged as a savior for them. Control M, a food tech specialist, is drawing industry attention with the official launch of RestoGenie, a RaaS (Restaurant as a Service) platform that digitally transforms the entire process of restaurant operations.
RestoGenie, developed by Control M based on generative AI, offers all necessary restaurant functions such as ordering, delivery, marketing, workforce management, and data analysis in one integrated solution. It particularly attempts an innovative approach to optimizing delivery app operations, which is the biggest challenge for restaurant business owners, thereby presenting differentiated value.
The core of RestoGenie is its 'Marketing Center'. By precisely analyzing the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for each major delivery platform like Baemin, Coupang Eats, and Yogiyo in real time, it helps prevent meaningless ad expenditures and achieve maximum sales growth with minimum cost. Furthermore, an AI vision camera collects data on store foot traffic and returning customers, and based on this, it supports the establishment of comprehensive marketing strategies covering both delivery and in-store operations. As a result of applying the RestoGenie system to Control M's directly managed stores, it achieved remarkable results: a 30% improvement in ad efficiency, an 87% increase in sales, and a whopping 104% rise in store profits.
CEO Won Jong-kwan stated, "Delivery app ROAS varies greatly depending on the region and industry." He emphasized, "By comprehensively analyzing online and offline visitor numbers and ad data to adjust strategies, we were able to confirm substantial performance improvements."
RestoGenie also dedicated significant effort to improving operational efficiency. Through its 'Education Center', menu and curriculum management, as well as various licensing-related information, can be conveniently checked on mobile and PC. An AI chatbot provides operational manuals and FAQ services, reducing the burden of on-site training. In the future, AI agent functionality will be added, allowing AI to automatically handle even complex delivery app setting changes.
Control M plans to unveil a complete solution by the end of the year, fully equipped with 11 core functions, including recruitment and payroll management, ordering, inventory, and electronic contracts. CEO Won stated, "By solving chronic problems in the restaurant industry, such as difficulties in cost calculation, excessive advertising fees, and inefficient manual work, with AI technology, we aim to change the unfortunate reality where 84% of self-employed businesses close within two years."
CEO Won Jong-kwan, formerly head of Eland Group's e-commerce business division, established Control M based on his extensive experience and know-how gained directly in the F&B field. Recently, it has garnered anticipation by being recognized as a leading company in the food tech sector in a venture capital industry survey of 'Korean AI companies under investment review'. RestoGenie, born from the hands of an expert who understands the difficulties on the ground better than anyone else, is drawing attention for the new wave it will bring to South Korea's restaurant industry.
