The Overture to Future Industrial Innovation: Realworld Robot ALLEX Joins Hands with Microsoft to Usher in the Global Robotics AI Era Realworld (RLWRLD), a leader in physical AI technology, has forged a strategic alliance with Microsoft, a giant in cloud computing and AI technology, to accelerate the research, development, and commercialization of industrial robotics AI. This partnership will set a new standard for 'on-site robotics AI' that will innovate future industrial environments, marking a significant milestone that heralds Realworld's leap into the global market. The core of this collaboration will proceed along three main axes. First, it will accelerate the training of Realworld's Robotics Foundation Model (RFM) based on Microsoft's powerful cloud platform, 'Azure'. Second, it will expand the horizons of robotics AI technology through in-depth research discussions with Microsoft Research (MSR). Third, it will expedite the commercialization of innovative technologies through joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies in the Asian market. Based on vast 4D+ multimodal data accumulated from real manufacturing environments, Realworld has developed a unique Robotics Foundation Model (RFM) that is not tied to specific hardware. Now, this RFM will meet Azure's powerful GPU and CPU clusters, ironclad security and API infrastructure, and unlimited cloud storage, dramatically expanding the scale and speed of training for reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and VLA (Vision-Language-Action) models. This lays the groundwork for robots to learn and execute faster, in more complex environments, and with greater precision. Both sides will also collaborate on the forefront of robotics AI research. Discussions with Microsoft Research (MSR) will address key challenges of next-generation robotics AI, including 'Latent Action modeling' that learns and reflects past work records autonomously, and 'Industry-specific Vision-Language Models (VLM)' that perfectly understand the characteristics of industrial sites. Such research will be concretized through future additional agreements, creating new solutions that transcend the limitations of robotic technology. Beyond technology development, Realworld and Microsoft will also pursue a joint go-to-market strategy for the Asian market. They plan to lead the digital transformation of the Asian market by combining Realworld's innovative robotics AI technology with Microsoft's extensive network and cloud capabilities, by promoting Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects for various industrial sites such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, and hotels, and through joint marketing and technical event presentations. Ryu Joong-hee, CEO of Realworld, expressed his ambition, stating, "Our collaboration with Microsoft will unlock the infinite scalability of Realworld's RFM and set a new standard for 'on-site robotics AI' that will solve complex challenges in the global manufacturing and logistics industries." Jorunnee Tian, Vice President of Microsoft Digital Native Asia Sales, also responded, saying, "Realworld is a leader in robotics AI that creates real value in industrial settings. This partnership goes beyond mere technological collaboration; it will be a crucial turning point where robotics AI takes deep root in actual industrial sites, enriching human lives and the future of industry.
