Pilsang's Phishing Detection Technology Wins Top Honors from Samsung Securities at Samsung Financial C-Lab

Amidst a surge in damages caused by financial impersonation and illegal investment chat rooms, Feelsang, a startup confronting this issue head-on with innovative AI solutions, is gaining attention. Feelsang (CEO Kang Pil-sang), which operates the AI-based phishing detection solution 'SsakdaJap-a', earned the honor of being selected as the top startup in the Samsung Securities category at the '2025 Samsung Financial C-Lab'. Co-hosted by Samsung Financial Networks, including Samsung Life, Samsung Fire & Marine, Samsung Card, and Samsung Securities, this event is recognized as a gateway for financial technology innovation. The 6th annual Samsung Financial C-Lab Outside saw over 400 startups compete fiercely, with only 16 teams advancing to the main stage. These teams conducted joint Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects with Samsung financial companies over five months in actual service environments, and through rigorous evaluation, only four companies achieved the feat of being selected as the top startups. Feelsang showcased its core technology, the 'real-time malicious URL detection solution', demonstrating a fast and sophisticated monitoring service that protects users from the threats of financial impersonation sites and illegal investment chat rooms. Its innovativeness and business potential were recognized, earning it the honor of being the top startup in the Samsung Securities category. In addition to the 30 million won in support provided to all finalist teams, the top companies receive an additional 10 million won in prize money, along with the extraordinary benefit of support for exhibiting at CES 2026, the world's largest IT exhibition. During the PoC period, Feelsang real-time monitored a vast 100 million URLs, accurately detecting financial impersonation and illegal investment chat room URLs, and successfully advanced its customized monitoring service optimized for Samsung Securities. Based on this successful demonstration, Feelsang has been selected as a commissioned testing cooperation model by the Financial Services Commission's Fintech Support Center and will continue its long-term impersonation site detection project with Samsung Securities for one year. CEO Kang Pil-sang stated, "The ability to effectively utilize the vast malicious URL data accumulated through our mobile app 'SsakdaJap-a' in this PoC was crucial."
