Integrated store management platform Payhere has successfully established an innovative QR code-based one-stop payment system at 'Pink Office', the Seongsu-dong flagship store of color makeup brand Rom&nd, through their collaboration.
This system real-time links Rom&nd's mobile app with Payhere POS and DID (Order Number Display) solutions, completely integrating the entire shopping process, from customer order to payment, pickup, and refund, into a single system. Customers scan the QR code of desired products in the store with their mobile phone, add them to a mobile shopping cart, and after finishing shopping, they immediately pay based on the synchronized details with the POS and receive their items from the conveyor belt in the pickup zone.
This method eliminates the inconvenience for customers of carrying heavy shopping baskets or searching for staff to get new products, and reduces the effort for staff to individually scan multiple product barcodes. Only test products are displayed on the shelves, reducing theft concerns and significantly improving the efficiency of real-time inventory and sales data management.
In particular, in line with K-beauty's global status, convenience features for foreign visitors have been significantly enhanced. Considering that 60-70% of Rom&nd store visitors are foreigners, QR order and payment processes are supported in multiple languages including English, Chinese, and Japanese, enabling free shopping without language barriers. Furthermore, a 'Tax Refund' service has been implemented where VAT is automatically refunded when scanning a passport with a Payhere terminal, providing a one-stop shopping environment where refunds can be completed immediately in the store without complex procedures at the airport.
A Rom&nd official stated that they plan to provide differentiated experiential content through the integrated online and offline system and continuously strengthen the brand concept. Park Jun-ki, CEO of Payhere, also emphasized that this collaboration will present an innovative payment experience befitting K-beauty's global standing and serve as an opportunity to further enhance the competitiveness of domestic offline stores.
