**Pablo Air Becomes First in Korea to Reach Level 4 Swarm Coordination... Leading Innovation in Unmanned Combat Systems**
Pablo Air, a company specializing in autonomous swarm control for unmanned mobile platforms, announced on the 28th at the 'Aerospace Weapon Systems Technology Development Conference' that it has become the first in Korea to reach Level 4 of 'Swarm Coordination' technology. This core capability allows a single operator to control dozens of unmanned aircraft and autonomously perform complex swarm operations, promising groundbreaking efficiency and enhanced combat power in the defense sector.
Pablo Air's 'Swarm Coordination' Level 4 technology integrates 8 key elemental technologies based on full mesh communication, including intelligent distributed mission control, distributed flight control, mission prediction/decision-making (AI/ML), and target identification (AI/ML). Through this, unmanned aircraft can autonomously collaborate and implement 'swarm intelligence,' performing high-difficulty missions such as precise strikes and low-altitude reconnaissance. In particular, from Level 4, it is capable of performing complex missions applicable to actual combat operations, drawing significant attention from the military.
Pablo Air has been focusing its defense technology capabilities by launching its defense-specific brand 'PabloM' in February this year. In June, at a suicide drone demonstration event invited by the Army Headquarters, four of its self-developed swarm suicide drones, the S10s, successfully hit targets using a 'Salvo Strike' method, thereby demonstrating combat-ready level technology.
Yoo Dong-il, CTO of Pablo Air, stated, "Pablo Air's Level 4 swarm technology, which has risen to a world-class level, aligns with the latest technological trends defined by NATO and will contribute to the development of our military's next-generation unmanned aircraft combat systems." Pablo Air plans to present the future of unmanned combat systems through continuous technology development and demonstrations.
