Sling, which operates 'Orzo,' a tablet learning app for test-takers, is accelerating its entry into the adult education market, and has newly introduced two learning modes for students preparing for the Korean History Proficiency Test (Han Neung Geom) and the Law Education Eligibility Test (LEET).
Orzo, which had established itself as a strong player in college entrance exams (Suneung) and internal school exams for middle and high school students, is expanding its domain to adult learning starting this year, making another leap following its entry into the civil service examination market last February.
The Han Neung Geom mode, an essential gateway test taken by 300,000 people annually, is structured to allow systematic learning of a vast array of past questions from 2012 to 2025 by proficiency level. It supports complete preparation, covering not only advanced and basic levels but also the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels prior to revision.
The LEET mode, key to law school admission, also enables in-depth learning by providing past questions by year and subject, as well as segmenting the Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning sections. Furthermore, it offers extensive learning opportunities by including Public Service Aptitude Test content introduced in exams like the Legislative Examination and the Judicial Administration Higher Civil Service Examination.
Orzo's strength goes beyond merely providing problems. Essential features that aid efficient problem-solving, such as automatic grading, smart pencil handwriting, and per-question timers, are standard! It is also equipped with a flawless review system, including AI-based review problem recommendations, a question forum, and per-question tags, helping test-takers enjoy an optimal learning experience in a digital environment.
Existing Orzo users can immediately access the new modes by simply changing settings within the app, without requiring separate login or additional app installation, thereby enhancing convenience.
Ahn Kang-min, CEO of Sling, stated his ambition, saying, "We hope test-takers will efficiently achieve high scores through Orzo's unique digital learning environment," and "We will lead learning innovation through premium commentary updates and service expansion to domestic and international exams within the year."
