Online design and printing commerce 'Bizhouse', operated by design platform company Miridih, has proven its rapid growth by surpassing 4 million cumulative orders. Launched in 2012, Bizhouse is a design creation service for small business owners and self-employed individuals, offering a vast array of free design resources including 650,000 images, 370,000 illustrations, 240,000 templates, and 3,300 types of fonts. Users can easily create various promotional materials such as banners, flyers, business cards, leaflets, and wedding invitations themselves using these resources.
The company announced that Bizhouse's monthly active users (MAU) increased by an average of over 25% annually over the past five years, reaching 150,000 in 2024, and the average monthly orders quadrupled from 20,000 to 80,000 during the same period. Notably, small business owners and self-employed individuals account for 70% of Bizhouse users, with high usage rates observed in the order of cafes/restaurants (21%), commerce (19%), and educational services such as academies (15%). Beauty, sports, and hospitals also each accounted for over 10%.
This growth was further accelerated by the introduction of AI services last year. Since the launch of innovative AI features such as AI logo creation, AI photo, illustration creation, and caricature creation, the number of new subscribers has surged by over four times compared to the same period last year, and creations made through AI logo creation, in particular, exceed 50,000 cases per week. AI logo creation, which automatically generates logos by simply entering keywords, helps users with no design experience easily create professional brand images and apply them directly to print materials.
Kang Chang-seok, CEO of Miridih, stated, "Design is an important means of conveying a company's identity and value, so everyone should be able to use it easily," expressing his commitment to effectively solving design, publicity, and marketing difficulties for small business owners and self-employed individuals through AI technology.
In addition to Bizhouse, Miridih successfully operates the visual communication platform 'Miricanvas', recording 78 billion won in sales and 4.7 billion won in operating profit as of 2024. Currently, the company is actively pursuing advanced AI technology and global market expansion, accelerating its business growth.
