Caredoc, a company specializing in total care for seniors, and Kakao Healthcare have joined hands to open a new era for caregiver reservations starting this June through the KakaoTalk chatbot 'CareChat'. Kakao Healthcare's 'CareChat' is already a smart hospital concierge service that assists with medical appointments, registration, and payments at major hospitals nationwide. Recently, it has expanded its role by including inpatient concierge functions such as inpatient reservations and bed assignments. In line with the strengthening of CareChat's inpatient concierge service, Caredoc decided to partner for hospital caregiver matching. Existing caregiver services often required urgently finding a caregiver by phone during sudden hospitalizations, leading to inconvenience and anxiety due to the difficulty of verifying the caregiver's experience or qualifications. Now, through 'CareChat', users can easily apply for Caredoc's professional caregiver services simultaneously with the hospitalization process. The biggest advantage is that everything from hospitalization to matching with a verified caregiver can be resolved at once within KakaoTalk, without complex procedures. It can be used immediately without installing a separate app or signing up for membership, and the same pricing and qualification conditions as the Caredoc platform are guaranteed. This dramatically lowers the barrier to accessing caregiver services, while also opening the way to easily and quickly find trustworthy professional caregivers. Kakao Healthcare proposed this partnership, focusing on the expertise of Caredoc, Korea's leading caregiver matching platform. Caredoc has gained the opportunity to further solidify its status in the professional care sector by providing its high-quality services to CareChat's 280,000 members. Caredoc has consistently strived beyond simple matching to train professional caregivers and improve the quality of care services. Last year, in collaboration with Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, it even operated a caregiver training program specialized for ward duties. This partnership will be an important stepping stone, in line with these efforts, to enable customers to enjoy better caregiver services.
